The Website that help me in my career

 

Hi everyone! I present to you a website that help me in my designs projects, his name is freepik, this website is where various graphic resources are stored with different formats, they can be photos, illustrations, vectors, templates, etc. There may also be models of different graphic pieces for example infographics, flayer, among others. To search you need to write a term or concept related to what you want to obtain and you can also choose with the format filters that you want it to show you if only vectors, psd or photo. (psd is a type of file linked to a specific design program called Photoshop, this is where that type of file will work). 

Something important to mention is that all graphic resources are uploaded by other people and are copyrighted.

I came to this platform looking for vector graphic resources for my university work, so I saw references of different styles and ideas, then I downloaded them and in the Illustrator program I saw how they were composed to generate such a shape and practiced how to make them. I also used them as a basis for some sketch or information that I wanted to explain, I like to use this website for these reasons, the freepik can help me to practice. At the beginning of the career I used it a lot, as I have progressed I use it less, because my ideas are better reflected, even so it is good to look at references that is very important for design to see what already exists.

Freepik is a platform that I recommend for all design students who want to improve their skills and looking for references for their sketches, is a good way to start.
